Glasgow Neighbourhood
Glasgow is an ambitious and fast changing city. One of its biggest challenges has always been the large swathe of public housing across the city. A few years ago all 85,000 homes was transferred to the Glasgow Housing Association and devolved to neighbourhood management.
We played a vital part in promoting the capacity of neighbourhood groups and getting local people involved and on-side with campaigns in six Glasgow neighbourhoods – Tollcross, Cranhill, Mosspark. South Easterhouse, Central Easterhouse and Balornock. Tenants Special trailers, a film premiered at a McDonald’s restaurant, fun days added a surprise element to the campaigns and attracted attention from far and wide.
