Meningitis Awareness
Our involvement in raising awareness of this potentially fatal disease, started in 2004, when we provided free of charge creative thinking and designs for the Leap for Meningitis ball. This was organised by the remarkable Olivia Giles, who herself has suffered from the disease and as result is a quadruple amputee.
The Proclaimers, Darius, Kirsty Wark and JK Rowling were among a plethora of celebrities who rallied to the call and made it not just a memorable event, but helped raise $451,000 for Meningitis charities. Then in 2008 we were delighted to step in to provide the creative support for a Scotland-wide Meningitis Awareness Campaign – newspaper, radio and pharmacy adverts formed the basis of the campaign.
