Foster Care
In Edinburgh we achieved a 37% increase in Foster Carers recruited within one year - allied to 600% increase in enquiries generated during the same period. We talked to foster carers – gaining some interesting insights. As a result we focused on the positive of fostering not on the neediness of the children. We involved the stars of Emmer dale, Lorraine Kelly, Anna Ryder Richardson and many more, in a series of exciting events and competitions. The Campaign won the IPR Scotland award for a community campaign in 2004.
