Boys Brigade
The Boys Brigade wanted to celebrate their 125th anniversary in style, but also to use this landmark to launch a new publicity offensive to attract new members and show the world that it is a modern organisation, offering a fantastic learning experience for young men. It also has an amazing track record of producing great men. David Tennant (of Doctor Who fame) is one of its more recent graduates.
But, it was Manchester United Manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, just returned from Champion’s League success we chose to put his name to the campaign. He did so with glee. Newspaper adverts, new promotional materials and viral marketing were some of the mechanisms used as part of a national campaign.
